Sarah Ione Lyon is an American visual artist from Salt Lake City, Utah. Originally born in Oceanport, New Jersey; she moved to the mountain city at a young age and was forever inspired by its natural beauty.

Through careful observation, and more than twenty years of dedicated practice, Sarah is able to translate the color and emotion of the world around her into her medium of choice.

Explorations of feminine sensuality are evoked through oil portraiture, and melded with her appreciation of nature to create a body of work that reflects a serious, and insightful artistic talent.
